Mohammed Babangida is an African businessman with a difference. Characterized by enormous energy and enthusiasm, Mr. Babangida is a hard driving professional who is dedicated to positive results. However, there is the “lighter” side of Muhammad Babangida that is interesting to look for.

Mohammad Babangida is an accomplished polo player and is member of the Kaduna Polo Club. Apart from this, he is also a great admirer of jazz music.

Taking references of the American Civil War and how it influenced the arrival of African music, Mohammed Babangida has pointed out that the songs unleashed a feeling of freedom in people, after the war. The contents were based on all aspects of life including physical needs. The most common attribute was however loneliness, thus marking the arrival of 'the Blues'.

Isn’t it but obvious that most genre of music seems to have an African tinge to it?
