When I was a teenager, I believed that celebrations such as “Father’s Day” or “Mother’s Day” had more to do with exaggerated marketing than factualism.
But, through time, I have realized that such occasions are necessary in one’s life, primarily to satisfy emotional needs, thank our loved ones and rejoice the existence of life.

Sunday, May 10, 2009 is Mother’s Day and the internet is already abuzz with activity-mainly in the form of gift purchases. Needless to say, as usual, Mothers day plant is selling like hot-cakes.

1800FLOWERS, one of the best internet retailers on flowers, have showcased several Mothers day plant on their website. The plant that I liked the most on the website was April's Bonsai – Plum, because “plum bonsai tree features fragrant white blooms and may bear miniature plums”. I thought this was really "cute"!!
